This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs how you may use Connekz Assistant, Call Assistant, developer Instances (API), and any related services. It is incorporated into our Terms of Use. By using Connekz you agree to comply with this AUP.

1. Our Commitment to Safe Use

We embed safety, alignment, and content-moderation measures directly into Connekz during training to reduce harmful, illegal, or unethical outputs. However, because of the generative and probabilistic nature of AI systems, we cannot guarantee that the model will never produce prohibited content, unexpected behaviour, or inaccurate responses. It is your responsibility as a user (or as a developer building applications) to ensure that your prompts, outputs, integrations, and overall use of Connekz comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

2. Prohibited Uses

You may not use Connekz (directly or through any application you build) for any of the following:

• Child sexual exploitation or abuse material (we will report to authorities where required).
• Violent crimes, terrorism, or promotion of self-harm/suicide.
• Scams, fraud, phishing, or deceptive practices (including misleading financial, legal, or medical advice).
• Hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or incitement of violence.
• Generation or distribution of illegal weapons, explosives, or controlled substances.
• Hacking, malware, viruses, or unauthorised access to systems.
• Spam, unsolicited bulk communications, or robocalls without consent.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery or deepfakes.
• Creating or distributing content that violates intellectual property rights.
• Any activity that is illegal under New Zealand law or the laws of the jurisdiction where you operate.

3. Call Assistant Specific Rules

When using Call Assistant you must:

• Obtain all required consents before recording or initiating calls.
• Never use for harassing, threatening, or illegal calls.
• Comply with all telemarketing, privacy, and telecommunications laws.

4. API & Developer Responsibilities

If you build applications with Connekz Instances you are fully responsible for:

• Ensuring your end users comply with this AUP.
• Implementing your own safeguards, age-gating, and moderation where needed.
• Not using outputs to train competing models or scrape data at scale.

5. Technical Misuse

You may not: reverse engineer, circumvent rate limits/safeguards, scrape outputs at scale, or attempt to remove embedded safety measures.

6. Enforcement

We monitor usage and may issue warnings, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts immediately for violations. Serious breaches (especially those involving child exploitation or illegal activity) will be reported to authorities.

7. Reporting Violations

If you see prohibited content or suspect misuse, raise a support ticket at /connekz/support.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this AUP. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
